New commissions from Love Nature

Love Nature has unveiled a slate of new commissions. Deep Dive North America, sees Lizzie Daly team up with US-based experts and marine research institutions to examine the marine life of North America. The project is a spin-off from Love Nature’s Deep Dive Australia.

Snow Leopards with Dan O’Neill follows the wildlife filmmaker as he goes on an extreme conservation mission to the mountains of Kyrgzstan and Mongolia to reveal the hunting behaviour, social dynamics and territorial range of these elusive animals.

Iszi returns to Radio 4

Your Place or Mine, hosted by Shaun Keaveny and Iszi lawrence has returned to BBC Radio 4 for a fourth series. The new season kicked off with the actor Stephen Mangan speaking about Ireland. All episodes are available on BBC Sounds.

World Earth Day 2024

Series three of 'Our Changing Planet' airs

The third year of the BBC’s ambitious, seven-year, natural history project ‘Our Changing Planet’ sees Steve Backshall returning to the Maldives, to take part in a world-first collaboration that could be the key to restoring reefs around the globe.

Royal Autopsy is back

The second series of Royal Autopsy sees anatomist and biological anthropologist Professor Alice Roberts rejoin Home Office Pathologist Dr Brett Lockyer to lead a unique investigation into the cause of death of four more British Monarchs: King George IV, Mary Tudor, King Henry IV and Queen Anne. Series 2 starts on Tuesday 2 April at 9pm on Sky History.

2024 Wildscreen: Science in Storytelling

Dan O’Neill is hosting the 2024 ‘Wildscreen: Science in Storytelling’ event. Lizzie Daly will also be on stage moderating a session which seeks to answer how we effectively communicate science and push the boundaries of natural history story telling. The one-day event, at the Bristol Beacon on Tuesday 12 March, features a full day of talks, Q&As and panel discussions centred around effective and accurate science communication in media.
